Establish the Reference Panel, employ the Research Assistant and
submit the ethics application to the partner institutions
Stage 2 Background research June 2014
Review FiF literature and identify major themes, develop the annotated
bibliography and project website. Analyse FiF students' expectations
and experiences data and prepare fact sheets for FiF students and
university staff
Stage 3 Narrative Inquiry Case Studies August 2014
Conduct in-depth interviews with FiF students and develop narrative
inquiry case studies
Stage 4 Dissemination of findings February 2015
Compare narrative inquiry case studies with the student expectation
and experience data and literature review themes, refine fact sheets
for FiF students and university staff and present findings to partner
institutions, national conferences and NCSEHE
